One of the best things about Bacolod is the sweet shop Calea Cakes and Pastries. If you are here to visit, this is one place you should not miss. They serve the most delectable deserts and sandwiches ~ a bit on the pricey side but worth every crumb. A taste of anything Calea will zoom you right into heaven. To compare a Calea with anyof the commercial brands on TV would just embarass the latter.
My all-time favorite is the carrot cake. The mix of carrot bits, walnuts (and other nuts I can’t quite place) and sweet icing is just right for my sweet tooth. What’s on your favorite list?
