Hello and welcome to the weekend! I am determined to spend quality time with the family. We went out last night and enjoyed ourselves silly at a local carnival. We did carousel and the look on Sophia’s face was just precious. We did bump cars and that precious look found its way on Zach’s face. And Tots and I have this silly tradition of riding a ferris wheel together. And we did that too. How these simple kid delights make way for little wonders!
Last week, I shared snippets of the carnival but why all this revelry? First day of October and Bacolod is in festival mood that goes beyond country fair… MassKara season just opened! Here’s an old photo (another recovered one! *all smiles*) of what to expect on the streets around this time every year:

Every year, something new is bound to make it’s way down the books. This year, I heard every street dance entry is using their own live bands. The streets are going to be filled with drum beaters, gong bangers, chest thumpers… music is gonna rock Bacolod! In the coming weeks this October, expect MassKara themed Colorful Weekends!

YOUR TURN NOW. What mix of colors are you digging now? If you have something colorful to share on your blog too, join this fun meme and link up!

You know how this works!
1. Link up using a Colorful Weekend button. If you don’t want to use a button, a link back to Nshima Servings is a-ok!
2. Using the linky tool below, add your permalink (not your general blog address) to count as a party player. Remember, your permalink is the exact URL of your Colorful Weekend post.
3. Please visit and comment on two posts before you and two posts after you plus a few more at random. That way everyone gets comments. What’s a party if we don’t socialize? We all love comments! Come back often to check out new party-goers.
First-timer?
This meme is all about celebrating the colors that rocked our week… or any day, really. It can be about anything and everything! In fact, I’m looking forward to a video. Anyone?
You can visit all the Colorful Weekend parties for your dose of rainbow inspiration. This is Colorful Weekend #16 ~ four months into the color parade. Fun!
