I used to only blog for myself. Well, for my family too, but back then I only had one kid and he was a baby and my husband hardly read my blog since I hounded the computer most of the time.
And I was freaking shy to share that I even had a blog! And so it went on like this for some years and I tell you, my blog is old. Even though I had a readership then of… uhm… 5(?), I soon found that it was delightful to get visits and comments from other bloggers. And when comments were relevant and meaningful, that would make my day: my opinion ~ whether it was in agreement or not of what others thought ~ actually stirred tiny waves.
To a continuously growing blogger like me, linking to other bloggers is desirable: it’s about learning from each other and sharing personal thoughts across the blogosphere. And so I’d like to fill up my blogroll but I can’t spend all my time hunting down great sites. I mean, there is only so much that I can do.

Individually as bloggers, we’re all busy so this project is actually a good thing. At its last launch, around 150 blogs linked up and that my dearies, is waaay cool.
