small hours and little wonders

FINALLY! If you can see this blog now, it wasn’t as pretty a couple of days ago. Error messages suck eh? My blogs (yes, a handful of them) caught a bad bug and they all went down. It was really bad… 2 weeks worth of bad!

I am blessed with great bloggy friends! Pinay Mommy helped me put this back up and I’m not even hosted with her! I love my webhost, but you should also go check out her services as well. Quality webhosting that’s so easy on the pocket and that personal touch on service that you won’t find anywhere else.

Pinay Mommy is awesomesauce! Without her, I’d probably still be tinkering on the backend with my database. So I know the blog doesn’t look perfect right now but the most important thing is the contents are intact and up live. Once I get around to re-uploading the theme, Nshima Servings will be back being the pretty blog it once was.

Oh yes, all you great peeps waiting for Colorful Weekend, the weekend meme that celebrates the colors we dig, we will be back soon, I promise. Just a little more time.

In the meantime, I leave you with a reminder: BACK UP YOUR BLOG, you hear? My last one was months ago and that is what’s holding me back from putting this blog back into top shape. If it weren’t for Pinay Mommy and her database genius, I’d have lost everything for good. Mind you, 6 years worth of thoughts!

I am not sure how you do it on Blogger {although I have two over there ~ which reminds me, I gotta check out how!} but if you are on WordPress, there are back up plugins. While it makes backing up easier with a click, the best way is to do it manually. Plugins sometimes fail, you see. Anyhoo, here’s a very easy tutorial on how to back up your WordPress blog the manual way. Now go read and go back up. Go!
