2011 was our year of change and challenge. It was all about career shifts and being away from family, consequently missing each other, which tested us emotionally, spiritually and financially. It was all about kiddie graduation, first grade, travelling, the beach. It was all about spreading our wings, growing individually and as a family. I was prepared to write off 2011 as difficult but as I was going through the year’s photos, it hit me: 2011 was still awesome.

Big things really come from small things. We should start little by little no matter what it is. It’s like practice makes perfect. We should not ignore the small things because who knows, it might be a big thing someday.

Hi AJ! LoL… who’d wanna remember the ER? But the hubs doesn’t get sick at all and out of the blue one night, he gets heartburn that intensifies over the hours. It was sooo bad, we drove to the hosp… and I DON’T drive. Imagine the torture. So it’s one of 2011′s tops. Crazy, eh? Thanks for watching it all the way through!

Wow, driving even if you don’t drive! That alone is a feat.
But yeah, with that kind of symptom, your hubby should really be in an ER, just to rule out heart attack. I had something similar to that too and also ended up in an ER. Thank God it was a heart attack, but too bad I didn’t take any photos of the ER.

Family bonding, family solidarity is made possible though minute thing of concern especially from the parents, but in the final end “big” things do happen. Writing a simple reminder or love notes by any member of the family and secretly leaving them behind to the room or desk study of everyone sparks a mighty change of heart, a heart that cares!
