No doubt he’s orange. He is kinda brown too, you see. This guy needs no introductions. Or does he? We all know this guy, eh!? Not gay, by the way.
Maybe Sesame Street is not as popular anymore, replaced now with Ben10 and some random animecallit so getting them to read and watch the characters (youtube!) I grew up with is good. To my baby girl, the orange one with the half-annoying-half-lovable tricks is Ahr-nie. And she mostly prefers him over Barbie.
The Joey-roo, her spunk and tomboyish actions, reminds me so much of another “kid” I grew up with. Who knows Punky Brewster?! I loved this series when I was a kid!!! I watched the whole Season 1 reruns last month and I was back in memory lane again, a kid wanting different hi-tops on each foot so that I could be just like her. And how Sophia looks and acts and talks the way she does. Spunk, pure spunk. I love it.
By the way, I’m sharing Ernie over at Toy Stories. And because he’s also brown, he gets the spotlight too over at Mirage’s blog. Fun memes, look them up sometime. :]

I loved Punky Brewster too! I even wrote to her and was ecstatic when she (or maybe her secretary) wrote back. Back then, that fan mail was my greatest treasure.
No waaaaay!!! If I got mail from her back in the day, woohoo, it would’ve made my day big tome!
awww very sweet girl and Ernie, loved it
Dropping some love for Thursday Brownies, hope that you can return the favor too.

I miss Sesame Street. I want Una to know those fun characters. Sadly, we can’t even download a clear copy of it. She only knows Big Bird and Elmo because her dresses are from Sesame Street and have them printed in front the dress.
Happy Brownies!
